The Wirral also has a wealth of cultural activities from Lady Lever Art Gallery to taking a ferry across the Mersey to the many Liverpool attractions and is the perfect touring base for Chester and beyond.

Boasting 17 golf courses, Wirral is a golfers paradise & as part of Englands Golf Coast, is the perfect location for a ‘Golfing Break’, from scenic coast & parkland courses, to the most challenging Championship courses of Hoylake, & Wallasey.

The Wilson Trophy, an annual sailing event in May, hosted by West Kirby Sailing Club, attracts international teams, & the World Sand & Kite yachting championships were recently held in Hoylake.

The Dee Estuary & bird sanctuary of Hilbre Island, are home to thousands of wading & estuary birds & the autumn migration & spring high tides provide stunning opportunities to witness and photograph numerous feeding birds or the spectacle of the harriers seadance.
